Job summary

Under Armour in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Footwear Concept Creation specialist who translates design direction and athlete insights into physical and digital prototypes to advance product learning and decision-making. Work closely with Design, Development, Product Line Management, Innovation, and factory partners to explore new making methods, strengthen performance, and express the UA brand.

The role requires a mix of hands-on prototyping and collaboration in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with typically 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree without experience OR typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree.
• Ability to safely operate, calibrate, program, diagnose and maintain prototype fabrication equipment such as 3D Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) and CNC Milling equipment
• Ability to plan and conduct experimental tests (parts, equipment, process), and then analyze the experimental results
• Demonstrated project organizational skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for communicating technical information to a non-technical audience
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills; presentation and public speaking skills
• Builds strong working relationships inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work across the innovation organization, within a group, and independently with only general supervision
• Entrepreneurially curious and creative; self-motivated, and disciplined.

• Evaluate prototype construction, repeatability within factory, and manufacturing considerations, recommending improvements throughout process
