Job summary

Under Armour is seeking a Lead – Footwear Material Developer to drive advanced upper technology platforms and sustainability solutions from concept to palette-ready status.

The role involves close collaboration with Footwear Innovation, Material Development and Product teams to deliver high-performance materials and manage transfers to inline production. Travel internationally and mentoring responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of textile, synthetic leather and leather classifications and testing.
• Understanding of footwear construction and design processes.
• Experience with sustainability material innovations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Footwear Innovation, Material Development, Product Development and Design teams.
• Drive technology transfers to inline for commercialization.
• Coordinate projects and track status with internal and external partners.
• Develop new material test methodologies and specifications.
