Job summary

Under Armour in Portland, OR is seeking a Professional, Engineer Simulation to deliver engineering assessments and performance insights for footwear using FEA and CAD tools. You’ll work across Innovation, Design and Development to predict responses before prototyping.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and up to 3 years of relevant experience; hybrid schedule with 4 days in-office. Base compensation ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 USD, with total rewards and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Innovation/Development with FEA and 3D-CAD.
• Experience with FEA predictive engineering of consumer products.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate concepts and designs of footwear using first-principles and engineering simulation tools.
• Deliver engineering assessments and design evaluations for footwear products and components using FEA.
• Define material properties, boundary conditions, analysis settings, and HPC operations for simulations.
• Communicate project progress, results, and material recommendations to cross-functional teams.
