Job summary

Mary's Center is seeking a Healthy Families America Family Support Worker to provide intensive home visiting services to overburdened families in Silver Spring, MD. You will collaborate with the HFA team to design family-centered plans and connect families to education, housing, and childcare resources.

The role requires an associate degree in a related field and at least two years' experience supporting families or children, with strong data entry and confidentiality practices.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in psychology, counseling, social service, or related field is required.
• Experience with computers, entering information, and Microsoft programs.
• English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly home visits to families in Prince George’s County.
• Conduct developmental screenings for children up to age five.
• Track immunizations and well-baby visits.
• Develop Family Goal Plans (FGP) with families and supervisors.
• Document participant encounters in agency databases within required timeframes.
