Job summary

Mary’s Center is seeking a Healthy Families America Family Support Worker to provide intensive home visiting support to families, ensuring children are safe, healthy, and ready for school by age five. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

The role includes conducting developmental screenings, tracking well-baby visits, and linking families to community resources. The position emphasizes building strong family relationships, creating individualized service plans, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• An associate degree in psychology, counseling, social service, or related behavioral health field.
• If AA degree: at least two years of paid or volunteer experience with families or children and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience with computers, entering information, and Microsoft programs.
• Willingness to engage in reflective practice.
• Knowledge of infant and child development preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to HIPAA confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive home visiting services to families to support child safety, health, and school readiness.
• Conduct developmental screenings for children up to age five and track immunizations.
• Build trust with families and coordinate access to community resources.
• Document encounters and track visits in agency databases and required systems.
• Collaborate with supervisor and program staff to develop and update Family Goal Plans.
