First Databank (FDB) is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the Finance team in Carmel, IN. The role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and executing license agreements and amendments for customers in collaboration with Sales and Hearst Legal.

The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence at least three days per week. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of contract experience are required, with paralegal certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and execute license agreements and amendments.
• Lead or participate in customer negotiations for licenses, amendments, and renewals.
• Determine licensing requirements and draft agreements and amendments.
• Manage the execution process through completion.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, including legal and sales.
• Manage customer communications and present positions clearly.
• Lead and support contract negotiations across teams.
