Job summary

Baird in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Event Technical Specialist to lead hands-on AV, video collaboration, and live production for conferences, town halls, and external events. You’ll configure, operate, troubleshoot, and support Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Cisco platforms to ensure reliable signal flow, great audio, and pristine video.

Collaboration with IT, Facilities, Hospitality, and Corporate Events drives standardization and continuous improvement of workflows and event delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting live events, hybrid meetings, and video productions.
• Hands‑on execution and real‑time troubleshooting during events.
• Ability to lead technical execution for live events and rehearsals.
• Experience with video switching platforms such as Tricaster or similar.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex in live environments.
• Familiarity with room control and enterprise collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical production for high‑visibility events.
• Serve as technical lead for internal video, livestreaming, and videoconferencing.
• Support and maintain enterprise collaboration platforms (Teams/Zoom/Webex).
• Translate objectives into audiovisual production solutions for attendees.
• Evaluate emerging AV technologies and recommend improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement of AV workflows and standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, Hospitality, and Corporate Events to plan events.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure consistent service delivery.
