Job summary

CTI, a leading AV and Conference solutions provider in Milwaukee, seeks a Live Event Technician to support Wisconsin Center District events. You will set up, operate, and tear down AV systems, work with lighting, rigging, audio, and video to deliver a flawless on-site experience.

Qualifications

• Lighting experience: 2+ years in programming, operating and troubleshooting professional lighting systems.
• Rigging experience: weight load assessments, chain hoists, trussing, and event rigging practices.
• Customer service experience and strong communication are essential.
• Proficiency with Vectorworks or AutoCAD for design plots is preferred.
• Experience with audio, video, and live production environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down AV equipment at conference centers and venues.
• Provide on-site lighting programming and operation for live events.
• Support rigging operations and coordinate truss layouts with safety standards.
• Assist with video production needs including projection and LED walls.
• Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure exceptional service.
