Job summary

Lumos Experiences, a Curate Group brand, is seeking an Event Operations Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of live shows in the Washington DC region. You will own venue coordination, staffing, safety, and post-event review, ensuring consistent quality and compliance.

The role demands a proactive leader who can recruit, train, and coach teams, manage budgets, and attend shows to uphold high standards. This position offers office-based work in DC with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event operations, production or management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Driving license and ability to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full operational delivery of shows across the DC region from planning to post-event review.
• Maintain a venue catalogue, safety documentation and emergency procedures.
• Lead weekend recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training for Event Managers and Assistants.
• Coordinate musician and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop standardized processes to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Manage inventory, storage locations and logistics for events.
• Attend a minimum of two shows per month to monitor quality and coach teams.
• Deliver post-event reports and KPI analyses to drive improvements.
