Popcorn for the People seeks an organized Event Manager to coordinate festivals, vendor opportunities, community events, and promotional activities in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Hybrid, part-time role with a variable schedule and $25.00 per hour compensation.

The ideal candidate will manage event logistics, staff training, and customer experiences while advancing our mission and brand awareness among partners, vendors, and communities we serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with partners on events for Popcorn for the People employees.
• Attend events and festivals throughout Philadelphia and surrounding area.
• Assist in securing inventory with production facility.
• Train employees on mission, event setup, stocking, sales techniques, and POS processing.
• Approve all aspects before the day of the event; ensure smooth execution.
