Job summary

JBS International is seeking an Evaluation and Data Analyst, Research Assistant III, to support data collection, data preparation, analysis, and reporting for national service and public health projects. The role emphasizes high-quality client deliverables and strong analytical skills.

The position is hybrid, requiring at least two days onsite at either our San Mateo, CA, or North Bethesda, MD office. Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2 years of experience with 1 year focused research in quantitative survey research.
• English fluency (oral and written).
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, and SQL; familiarity with survey platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support survey administration and participant tracking.
• Clean, organize, and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Conduct descriptive statistical analyses under supervision; support analyses in SAS/R/Python/Stata.
• Create tables, charts, dashboards in Excel and Power BI to communicate findings.
• Prepare analytic summaries and client-ready reports.
