Job summary

JBS International is seeking an Evaluation and Data Analyst, Research Assistant III, to support research, evaluation projects, and client deliverables. The role involves data collection, dataset preparation, analysis, and creation of visualizations and reports.

Hybrid position with at least two days onsite weekly at our North Bethesda, MD or San Mateo, CA offices. Strong analytical skills and applied research interest are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, sociology, community psychology, statistics or a similar field
• 2 years of experience including 1 year of focus research experience conducting quantitative survey research
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python or Stata and MS Office; experience with survey platforms and data management methods

Responsibilities

• Support data collection activities, participant tracking, and survey development
• Clean, organize, and prepare datasets; perform data quality checks
• Create tables, charts, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel and Power BI
• Assist in literature reviews and preparation of client-ready materials and reports
