Job summary

JBS International is seeking an Evaluation and Data Analyst to support research projects focused on national service and public health. You will assist with data collection, manage datasets, perform analyses, and develop visualizations and reports for client deliverables.

The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in SAS, R, Python, SQL, and survey platforms. This is a hybrid position with two onsite days weekly at San Mateo, CA or North Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Sociology, Community Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience including 1 year of quantitative survey research.
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, or other statistical packages; experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with survey platforms (Alchemer, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).
• Strong data management and quantitative research methods; excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support survey administration and participant tracking.
• Clean, organize, and prepare datasets; perform data quality checks.
• Create tables, charts, and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Prepare analytic summaries and client-ready materials; assist reporting and literature reviews.
