CentraCare is seeking a highly organized Physician Scheduling Assistant to coordinate ER provider scheduling and clinic template work across Paynesville, Melrose, Sauk Centre and Long Prairie. The role ensures accurate coverage, provider productivity and uninterrupted patient care through collaboration with physicians, leaders and staff.

Ideal candidates demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex scheduling needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Understand patient medical records, provider orders and communicate with patients and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive provider schedules including call coverage, rounding assignments, vacation requests, and coverage during provider absences.
• Coordinate scheduling across ER and clinic settings to ensure provider productivity and patient access.
• Support operational efficiency and continuity of care through effective communication with physicians, leaders and nursing staff.
• Assist with template work and other scheduling needs as required.
