Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sr. Epic Hospital Billing Application Analyst to bridge Revenue Cycle operations and IT. Hybrid role, collaborating with Finance, Patient Financial Services and Epic teams to optimize hospital billing workflows.

You will lead complex Epic initiatives, mentor analysts, coordinate upgrades and ensure compliant, reliable billing solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

1–2 years of project management or leadership experience.
Minimum of 2 years in related application, healthcare IT, or revenue cycle.
Strong understanding of Epic Hospital Billing workflows preferred.
Experience with Epic Hospital Billing build, configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support preferred.
Experience with Epic HB Claims and Charge Router preferred.
Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations including billing, claims, charge capture, reimbursement, AR, follow up preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead complex Epic initiatives with project management responsibilities and mentorship.
Provide advanced technical expertise in development, deployment, optimization, and support of enterprise applications and integrations.
Translate complex hospital billing and revenue cycle requirements into Epic solutions.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and operational leaders to optimize system functionality.
Plan, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Hospital Billing components.
Coordinate upgrades, releases, and enterprise projects while ensuring compliance.
