Job summary

Lightsource bp in Austin, Denver or San Francisco is seeking a Manager, Pre-Construction and Tenders to lead EPC contract sourcing, evaluation and award for utility-scale renewable energy projects, and to support O&M contracts.

You will work in the EPC team with Project Management, Engineering, Development and Safety, bringing commercial judgment and coordinating complex tendering to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Experience supporting negotiation of EPC contracts.
• Experience managing RFPs, evaluating bids and developing award recommendations.
• Experience in multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational and contract review skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Business-fluent English and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, issuing and managing RFP packages for EPC services and, when required, O&M services.
• Reviewing, normalizing and comparing bids to support award recommendations.
• Interviewing and evaluating bidders with project stakeholders.
• Completing supplier due diligence through prequalification procedures.
• Developing relationships with EPC vendors and coordinating meetings.
• Supporting negotiation and execution of EPC and service contracts.
• Ensuring contracts meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Collaborating with Development, Project Management, Engineering and Safety.
