• ABET-accredited engineering degree or related field.
• Proficiency with Python and scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-image, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly).
• Exposure to ML or statistical data analysis methods.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn EO/IR evaluation techniques.
• Interest in EO/IR systems and image-based detection and classification.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in a cross-disciplinary team.
• Residency in North Alabama area or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Final Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based analysis scripts for qualitative and quantitative EO/IR sensor analysis.
• Analyze data trends and create visualizations to communicate findings.
• Assist with data collection, test events, and post-test data validation.
• Implement industry-standard metrics to evaluate EO/IR performance.
• Document methodologies, processes, and results.
• Support synthetic EO/IR data generation and validation against real sensor data.
