Job summary

EnSafe is seeking a full‑time Environmental Geologist or Engineer (Environmental Project Manager) to join our team in Long Beach, CA or Concord, CA. You will manage a wide range of environmental investigation and remediation projects for industrial, commercial, and government clients nationwide, collaborating with a skilled team in a dynamic, supportive environment.

This role emphasizes leadership, client service, and business development, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental).
• 5+ years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.
• CA GIT, EIT, PG or PE licensure.
• Experience with Phase I and II ESAs.
• Multi‑media sampling experience; PFAS a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; mentorship ability.
• Travel willingness; OSHA 40‑hr HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee environmental investigations and remediation oversight.
• Direct technical teams across offices; prepare plans and meet clients.
• Develop Work Plans and Sampling/Analysis Plans.
• Conduct site investigations: soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, and vapor intrusion.
• Lead Phase I/II ESAs; interpret data and write reports.
• Support business development and client relationships.
