Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced environmental professional to join their Environmental and Permitting team. This role will require a hybrid work schedule with in-office work three days a week, focusing on environmental compliance, project management, and client relationship growth.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in environmental compliance for industrial projects and will be responsible for managing complex projects in an evolving sector that includes power and industrial clients. Opportunities for travel will be available.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of experience in environmental compliance and permitting.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act.

Responsibilities

• Review and implement environmental regulatory requirements.
• Support business development initiatives and mentor junior staff.
• Manage complex environmental impact studies and permit applications.
