Job summary

ProSource Land Services, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, seeks an Environmental Group Manager in the Minneapolis area with a hybrid schedule and extensive travel. You will lead business development for energy clients, provide technical oversight for permitting and compliance, and manage a team of environmental professionals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related, with a focus on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience in permitting and environmental review for energy projects.
• Experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of NEPA, state environmental regulations, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development initiatives for energy-sector clients, including utilities, developers, and engineering partners.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities related to pipeline, powerline, solar, and wind permitting and NEPA compliance.
• Prepare and review proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on environmental permitting and regulatory strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and construction teams to support project pursuits.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for environmental permitting and compliance efforts.
• Oversee preparation and review of environmental documents, including NEPA and state-level environmental reviews, biological, cultural, and wetland studies, and permitting applications.
• Guide permitting strategies for linear infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Ensure projects meet regulatory, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Manage group workload, budgets, and financial performance.
• Track utilization, revenue, and profitability for assigned projects and staff.
• Implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects.
• Support health, safety, and quality assurance programs.
• Mentor and develop a team of environmental professionals, including project managers and technical specialists.
