Job summary

ProSource is seeking an Environmental Group Manager to lead the environmental team and drive permitting and regulatory strategy for energy and infrastructure projects.

The role combines business development, technical oversight, and staff leadership with a hybrid work arrangement and extensive travel. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental consulting, NEPA experience, and strong client management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Planning, Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in environmental consulting or related with a focus on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience in permitting and environmental review for energy projects.
• Experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of NEPA and state environmental regulations and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development initiatives for energy sector clients including utilities, developers and engineering partners.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities related to pipeline, powerline, solar and wind permitting and NEPA compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for environmental permitting and compliance efforts.
• Oversee preparation and review of environmental documents including NEPA and state level environmental reviews.
• Manage and mentor a team of environmental professionals including project managers and technical specialists.
• Track utilization, revenue and profitability for assigned projects and staff.
