Job summary

ProSource, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an Environmental Group Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering environmental permitting, compliance, and business development for energy infrastructure projects including pipelines, powerlines, solar, and wind.

The role combines strategic oversight, staff leadership, and client relationship management, with extensive travel and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Planning, or Engineering.
10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related fields focused on energy or infrastructure projects.
Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
Experience with permitting and environmental review for energy projects.
Experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of NEPA, state environmental regulations, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

Lead business development initiatives for energy-sector clients, including utilities and developers.
Identify and pursue opportunities related to pipeline, powerline, solar, and wind permitting.
Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
Mentor and manage a team of environmental professionals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Provide technical leadership and oversee environmental permitting activities.
