Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex technical solutions using environmental data expertise and EQuIS experience. This role requires a self-motivated, communicative professional who can juggle multiple tasks and learn quickly in a consulting setting.

You will implement EQuIS data management, contribute to data loading and delivery, and work with a diverse team to ensure quality, on-schedule, and on-budget project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis or visualization.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience designing or automating digital workflows from project planning to data warehousing and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with leadership and SMEs.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, loading, and delivery.
• Learn and follow data management best practices.
• Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Work with a dynamic team of data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.
• Develop and implement project plans, assign work, and ensure quality, on-schedule and on-budget.
