Jacobs in the United States is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex technical solutions using environmental data and EQuIS expertise. You will work with a dynamic team of data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.

The role emphasizes data management best practices, project planning, data loading, visualization, and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, geology, engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 1+ years of environmental remediation field work.
• 1+ years of data management experience with Microsoft Access and/or EQuIS.
• Exposure to database or programming platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, HTML/JSON, Python, R).
• Understanding of digital workflows from project planning to data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with leadership and SMEs.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, loading and delivery.
• Learn and follow our data management best practices.
• Develop competency across all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Collaborate with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.
• Develop and implement project plans, assignments, and ensure quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely.
