Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex technical solutions using environmental data knowledge and EQuIS experience. This role requires self-motivation, strong communication, and the ability to balance multiple tasks with a client-service mindset.

You will join a dynamic team of data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists, developing and implementing project plans to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.
• 5+ years data management experience using EQuIS with knowledge of EQuIS modules including Professional, EDP, SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience with designing or automating digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with leadership and EQuIS subject matter experts.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, data loading, and data delivery.
• Learn and follow our data management best practices.
• Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Work in a dynamic team environment with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.
• Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure product quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely.
