Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex EQuIS-based data solutions. You will collaborate with data managers, scientists, and engineers to manage environmental data, develop project plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You’ll need a BS in Environmental Science or related field, 2+ years environmental consulting, 1+ years remediation data work, and experience with MS Access or EQuIS, plus exposure to SQL/HTML/JSON. Hybrid work model in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 1+ years of environmental remediation field work.
• 1+ years of data management experience, preferably using MS Access or EQuIS.
• Exposure to databases or programming platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, VBA, HTML, JSON, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with support from leadership and SMEs.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, loading, and delivery.
• Learn and follow our data management best practices.
• Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Work in a dynamic team with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.
• Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.
