Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Data Management Specialist to deliver complex technical solutions leveraging EQuIS expertise in environmental data management and analytics. You will collaborate with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists to drive data-driven outcomes.

The role emphasizes implementing EQuIS data management solutions, leading data-tracking, loading, and delivery, and following best practices across project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.
• Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.
• Experience designing or automating digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Implement EQuIS data management solutions with the support of data management leadership and EQuIS subject matter experts.
• Contribute to project data management including data tracking, data loading, and data delivery.
• Learn and follow our data management best practices.
• Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.
• Work in a dynamic team environment with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.
• Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure product quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely.
