Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator for our US offices in a hybrid role (3 days in office per week). You will support projects across water, energy and urbanization sectors, performing data validations and QA/QC, and coordinating laboratory activities and analytical methods based on project QA/QC parameters.

The role requires a 4-year chemistry degree and 5+ years in environmental analytical chemistry, with PFAS and GC/MS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in chemistry preferred
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience
• Experience validating GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with EPA methods
• Experience with data validation and QA/QC documentation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry to project teams
• Perform data verifications and validations using USEPA guidance; prepare data validation reports
• Assist with laboratory coordination and selection of analytical methods based on QA/QC parameters
• Monitor data quality and ensure data meet project objectives
• Deliver technical assignments involving data quality assessments and QA/QC
• Collaborate with internal teams and external laboratories to achieve project goals
