Job summary

GHD is a global professional services leader in water, energy and urbanization, seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator. The role is open for any US office with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week).

You will validate data using USEPA guidance, prepare QA/QC reports, assist with QAPPs, coordinate laboratory work and monitor turnaround times. A BS in chemistry and 5+ years in environmental analytical chemistry are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemistry (or related field)
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience
• Experience validating GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with USEPA methods
• Experience with data validation and QAPP documents is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry for project teams
• Perform data verifications and validations using USEPA guidance; prepare validation reports
• Assist with laboratory coordination and selection of analytical methods
• Monitor lab turnaround times and ensure data quality objectives are met
• Deliver data quality assessments and ensure project objectives are met
• Collaborate with internal teams and external laboratories
