Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator for our US offices with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week). The role centers on validating environmental analytical data, coordinating laboratory activities, and supporting QA/QC across a range of federal and industry projects.

Ideal candidates will have a chemistry degree and 5+ years of environmental analytics experience, including PFAS/GCMS validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science in chemistry or related field preferred.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience, lab bench chemistry preferred.
• Experience validating GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with USEPA methodologies.
• Experience with data validation and QA/QC documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry for diverse projects.
• Perform data verifications and validations per USEPA guidance; prepare validation reports.
• Assist with laboratory coordination and method selection based on QA/QC parameters.
• Monitor turnaround times and ensure data meets data quality objectives.
• Deliver data quality assessments and ensure project objectives are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external labs/consultants.
