Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator to join our team, supporting projects across federal and commercial clients with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office per week).

You will verify data using USEPA guidance, assist with QAPPs, coordinate laboratory activities, monitor turnaround times and ensure data quality objectives are met. Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience.
• Experience validating high-resolution GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with EPA methods.
• Experience with data review and QA/QC.
• Experience with QAPP documents is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry for project teams.
• Perform data verifications and validations using EPA guidance; prepare data validation reports; assist with QAPPs.
• Assist with laboratory coordination and selection of analytical methods based on QA/QC parameters.
• Monitor lab turnaround times and ensure data quality objectives are met.
• Deliver and be accountable for data quality assessments and project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside laboratories.
