Job summary

Sauce Labs, a world-leading test automation platform, is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to work with enterprise customers in a hybrid Boston office. You will tackle technical problems, reproduce issues, and contribute to customer-facing docs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a developer or supporting developers (1+ year).
• 1–2 years experience as a support engineer.
• Programming with Javascript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or C#.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript; expect a take‑home test.
• Strong written communication; you may be asked to write a short essay.
• Willing to be a detective, an experimenter, an interpreter, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Help customers solve technical problems.
• Answer questions about the product’s capabilities.
• Reproduce customer issues and report bugs to developers.
• Manage queue of support tickets and provide regular updates.
• Respond quickly to customers via tickets, with occasional online meetings.
• Develop customer-facing documentation.
• Develop code samples demonstrating testing in the Sauce cloud.
