Job summary

Sauce Labs is seeking a customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer / Professional Services Consultant, specializing in Playwright and modern test automation. You will blend pre-sales tech with hands-on consulting to help customers evaluate, adopt, and expand automated testing across web and API environments.

The role requires presenting to both technical and business stakeholders, building production-grade test automation, and guiding customers through PoC, implementation, and enablement throughout

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software development, test automation, quality engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers’ architectures, testing practices, delivery pipelines, security requirements, and business objectives.
• Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations centered on Playwright and modern test automation workflows.
• Build and manage technical proofs of concept that demonstrate measurable customer value.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable solution architectures using Sauce Labs capabilities and third‑party technologies.
• Address technical questions, competitive considerations, and integration requirements during the sales process.
• Present recommendations to developers, QA leaders, security teams, and procurement stakeholders.
• Document customer requirements, technical risks, solution designs, and proof‑of‑concept outcomes.
