Job summary
The Delaware Department of Technology & Information (DTI) is seeking a Systems Administration Manager to lead the Enterprise Desktop/LAN (EDL) Team. You will drive strategy, architecture, and governance for enterprise desktop solutions, mentor staff, and collaborate with senior management to align technology with state government goals.
Candidates should have at least five years in IT, with supervisory experience, and knowledge of end-user support and software life cycle processes.
Qualifications
- Five years of IT experience with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Three years of technical experience providing end-user support for hardware/software.
- Three years of experience analyzing IT solutions and leading projects.
- Experience in project leadership including defining, evaluating, and reporting on multi-resource projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical management of an Enterprise Desktop/LAN team.
- Develop IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with government practices.
- Mentor EDL personnel and lead enterprise-wide desktop initiatives.
- Report to the EDL Technology Senior Manager and drive staff performance.
