Job summary

Department of Technology & Information (DTI) in Delaware seeks a Systems Administration Manager to lead the Enterprise Desktop/LAN (EDL) team and drive desktop solutions across the enterprise. You will shape technologies, processes and policies aligned with state practices and mentor staff to achieve strategic IT goals.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in enterprise IT management within a government setting. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in IT with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Minimum of three years end‑user support for hardware/software deployments and basic admin tasks.
• Three years of project leadership, including defining, evaluating, leading, tracking and reporting on complex projects.
• Selective requirement includes high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Strategically and technically manage the Enterprise Desktop/LAN (EDL) Team.
• Develop and implement enterprise desktop initiatives aligned with government practices.
• Mentor EDL staff and report to the EDL Technology Senior Manager.
