Job summary

VIATEQ Corporation is seeking an AI Integration Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AI platforms within an enterprise IT environment. The role focuses on integrating Perplexity AI and related LLM technologies with existing systems and workflows in a hands-on capacity.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and works on a hybrid schedule with one on-site day. The successful candidate will collaborate with IT architects, AI leads, and stakeholders to build scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/SE/Data Science or related field.
• 3+ years of systems integration, software development, API engineering experience.
• 1+ years deploying or integrating AI platforms or LLMs in an enterprise environment.
• REST API development and integration experience with enterprise systems.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP) and its AI offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI integrations between platforms (Perplexity AI and LLMs) and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and middleware.
• Configure and deploy Perplexity AI environments, including authentication and data source integration.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines connecting AI tools with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and other apps.
• Implement RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding workflows, and AI search integrations.
• Collaborate with AI Lead and stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable integration solutions.
• Test AI integrations for functionality, performance, and output quality before production release.
• Monitor performance and reliability, resolving issues to optimize effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with data handling policies and federal security standards.
