Job summary

Avum, Inc. seeks an AI/ML Integration Specialist to turn AI solutions into reliable, scalable production capabilities. You will work with engineering, data, and business teams to connect models with existing systems, ensuring secure, governed deployments.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, APIs, and workflows; evaluating performance, cost, and governance; and advancing generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and computer vision initiatives across contracts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computing or data field.
• 3+ years in software engineering, systems integration or ML engineering.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations of AI/ML models with apps.
• Implement generative AI, LLMs, NLP, CV, and analytics for business needs.
• Build APIs, data pipelines, middleware, and workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to production.
• Evaluate performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Monitor deployments, troubleshoot, and establish testing/deployment practices.
• Ensure security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI compliance.
• Document architectures and procedures; suggest new technologies.
