Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an AI Integration Engineer to deploy, configure, and optimize AI platforms (notably Perplexity AI) within our enterprise IT environment for a government client in Washington, DC. Hybrid work with one day on-site and eligibility for a Public Trust.

You will design integrations between AI platforms and SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and other systems, develop data pipelines, ensure security and compliance, and document

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in systems integration, API engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ year hands-on AI platform deployment/integration in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems via REST APIs, SDKs, and workflows.
• Configure Perplexity AI environments and ensure secure, scalable connectivity to data sources.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation to connect AI tools with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow.
• Implement and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases for accurate results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate AI use cases into scalable integration solutions.
• Document architectures, API guides, data flows, and runbooks.
