Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader headquartered in Fond du Lac, WI, is seeking a PD&E team member to support engine dynamometer testing and development activities. You will work on engineering tests to improve performance, emissions, fuel economy, and overall product quality for propulsion systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, data logging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of internal combustion engine systems and diagnosing issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mentor others.
• Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn and teach others.
• Extreme attention to detail in logs and data documentation.
• Proficiency with precision tools and equipment (torque wrenches, borescopes, calipers).
• Strong computer skills and ability to lift moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dyno testing to develop optimized base engine hardware and calibrations.
• Rig engines in dyno cell and install instrumentation.
• Perform engine maintenance for engines on test (oil changes, valve lash, etc).
• Install or remove engine parts as required (heads, cams, exhaust, sensors).
• Troubleshoot engine and dyno cell issues (electrical and mechanical).
• Fabricate fixtures and route lines for tests; keep dyno area organized.
