Job summary

Brunswick’s Mercury Racing team in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks a hands-on engineer to help design, test, and develop high-performance propulsion systems. You will manage dynamometer test facilities, instrumentation, and data acquisition while performing troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

This role combines mechanical and electrical work with data analysis and continuous improvement. The position supports testing across the US, with occasional travel, and offers competitive pay with

Qualifications

• Ability to read complex control system diagrams and I/O requirements to integrate instrumentation
• Ability to work independently on special, non-routine projects
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to interpret data, analyze component failures, and recommend changes
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools, soldering, and light machine repair
• Associates degree in Mechatronics or Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support design, testing, and development of Mercury Racing outboards and sterndrives
• Maintain and manage AVL Dyno facilities with calibration routines
• Coordinate with outside suppliers to quote and order equipment
• Update software, PCs, firmware, AVL PUMA software, and ensure security policy compliance
