Sargent & Lundy’s Strategic Advisory group seeks an Associate Consultant to support energy-sector projects, conducting structured research, analysis, and clear recommendations. You’ll collaborate with senior professionals, prepare client-ready deliverables, and help advance strategic initiatives from planning to execution in a hybrid environment.

Required: engineering or related degree, 3–6 years in power/utilities, strong quantitative skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in power & utilities sector preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. MBA or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with research, analysis, and translating findings into recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients and senior professionals in meetings and working sessions.
• Contribute to client presentations, reports and other work products.
• Support development of analytical tools, frameworks, and practice collateral.
• Assist with engagements outside Strategic Advisory when applicable.
