Job summary

Harvard University seeks an Energy Performance Engineer to provide continuous evaluation and ongoing commissioning of energy systems on the Boston campus. You will collaborate with Facilities teams, review fault histories with Clockworks, analyze energy trends, and coordinate retro-commissioning activities with internal teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes data analytics, energy conservation measures, and ensuring reliable equipment performance through field surveys and verification of ECM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Energy Engineering, BAS, Commissioning or related field.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; building automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Review fault history in Clockworks to identify energy issues and mitigate deficiencies.
• Monitor energy data trends, ensure data collection and storage integrity.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and develop ECM scopes of work.
• Assist in retro-commissioning and verify ECM performance and savings.
