Job summary

Sustainable EnergyFirst is seeking an Energy & Carbon Consultant to manage a portfolio of client projects, delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timescales and budgets. You will apply technical expertise to support sustainability goals and client objectives.

You will work within the Sustainable Solutions team, building relationships, mitigating risks, and contributing to continuous improvement of our services across energy and carbon management.

Qualifications

• Delivery of energy and carbon projects on time and to agreed quality standards.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for large datasets.
• Experience in energy and carbon management, including reporting and opportunity identification.
• Working knowledge of UK energy and carbon regulation and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy and carbon projects on time and to quality standards.
• Manage own schedule and tasks, including site work and reporting.
• Escalate risks and issues appropriately.
• Produce analysis, insights and actionable recommendations.
• Build constructive relationships with clients and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate within project teams and share knowledge for service improvements.
• Identify opportunities for additional support or services within projects.
