Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking an EIA & Sustainability Consultant to deliver high-profile infrastructure projects, shaping robust environmental assessments, carbon calculations and practical sustainability strategies. You will work across renewable energy, data centres, urban development, airports and other nationally significant infrastructure with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers hybrid working from Abingdon, Cardiff or Woking, with travel to client sites and opportunities to lead

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field; master’s degree is advantageous.
• Experience in EIA and/or sustainability consultancy.
• Strong Excel analysis and report-writing skills.
• Able to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to EIA, sustainability and climate change workstreams from feasibility to submission of Environmental Statements and EIA Reports.
• Prepare EIA screening and scoping reports; draft and review Environmental Statements and EIA Reports.
• Coordinate technical inputs, ensure quality and timeliness, and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Support bids, budgets and client relationships; mentor graduates and junior consultants.
