Job description

We have an exciting opening for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to contribute to complex energy and climate initiatives with real-world impact. You will contribute to high-level projects across energy markets, system planning, and decarbonization, with increasing ownership over workstreams as you progress.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver analytical work using models, spreadsheets, and research to support client decisions
  • Lead defined project workstreams and manage tasks end to end
  • Develop written content for reports, memos, and presentations
  • Present findings to clients and respond to technical and strategic questions
  • Conduct independent research and form defensible assumptions with incomplete data
  • Apply quality assurance standards to analyses and deliverables
  • Improve and maintain analytical tools and models
  • Translate technical outputs into clear visuals and narratives
  • Support proposal development and internal initiatives as needed
Requirements
  • Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, economics, computer science, public policy, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in energy, climate, or adjacent analytical fields
  • Demonstrated experience in areas such as energy systems, markets, electrification, or infrastructure planning
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven project ownership, time management, and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; programming experience is a plus
  • Commitment to the transition to a low-carbon economy
