Job summary

The University of Notre Dame seeks an IT Engineering Specialist to manage enterprise endpoint platforms and services across Windows and macOS environments. You will administer, troubleshoot, and optimize tools like Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, and Entra ID while collaborating with IT@ND to improve workflows and security.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in endpoint engineering, strong scripting skills, and a track record of cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in endpoint engineering, systems administration, or related field.
• Experience administering Windows and macOS endpoints with modern management tools.
• Strong understanding of provisioning, configuration, app delivery, OS servicing, security and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise endpoints across Intune, MECM/Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, Entra ID, and related tech.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows/macOS issues spanning endpoints, OSes, apps, identity, networking, and security controls.
• Develop automation scripts, tools, reports, and workflows to improve reliability and UX.
• Collaborate across IT@ND to maintain docs, support incident/problem/change management, and train Tier 1/2 teams.
• Contribute to endpoint modernization and cross-functional projects.
