Job summary

The University of Notre Dame is seeking an IT Engineering Specialist to manage enterprise endpoint platforms and advance automation across Windows and macOS environments. You will partner with IT@ND teams to improve service delivery, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.

Minimum 5 years in endpoint engineering with hands-on experience in Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, and scripting. This role supports a hybrid work model and requires strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years in endpoint engineering or related technical field.
• Experience administering Windows and/or macOS with Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of provisioning, configuration, app delivery, OS servicing, security, and lifecycle.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems across endpoint platforms.
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, shell, APIs) to support admin tasks.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise endpoint management across Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, Entra ID, and related tech.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows and macOS endpoints, security controls, and identity/network issues.
• Develop scripts, tools, reports, and workflows to automate endpoint operations.
• Document processes and collaborate across IT@ND, supporting Tier 1/2 teams.
• Support endpoint modernization and participate in cross-functional projects and skill development.
