Job summary

University of Notre Dame is seeking an IT Engineering Specialist to manage enterprise endpoint platforms and ensure secure, supported campus-wide services. You will work across Windows and macOS environments, employing Intune, MECM, and Jamf Pro to deliver provisioning, updates, and compliance.

The role emphasizes automation, incident/problem/change support in ServiceNow, and collaboration with IT teams to evolve endpoint services while enabling Tier 1/2 support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, enterprise device management, or a related technical field.
• Experience administering enterprise Windows and/or macOS environments using modern endpoint-management technologies such as Intune, MECM/Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro.
• Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint management, including provisioning, configuration, app delivery, OS servicing, security and compliance, identity, and device lifecycle management.
• Experience using scripting or automation (PowerShell, shell scripting, APIs) to support systems administration and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise endpoint management services across Microsoft Intune, MECM, Jamf Pro, Entra ID, and related technologies.
• Provide advanced technical support for complex Windows and macOS issues spanning endpoint platforms and security controls.
• Develop scripts, tools, reports, and workflows to automate and improve endpoint operations.
• Collaborate with IT@ND to strengthen endpoint service delivery and maintain operation documentation.
• Support endpoint modernization through cross-functional projects and skill development.
