Job summary

COCC is seeking a Technology Services Administrator to troubleshoot end-user issues across Windows, Linux (virtual), macOS, and VDI environments. You’ll manage user access, support Zoom and enterprise apps, and assist with production and disaster recovery operations.

The role requires 1–3 years of end-user support, strong communication skills, and an Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Hybrid schedule in CT area is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting end user technology environments.
• Experience troubleshooting end user hardware and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of Windows desktop installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AD, DNS, DHCP, and VMware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front line resource for staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues.
• Support Windows, virtual Linux, and macOS desktops in physical and VDI environments.
• Manage and support user identities and access.
• Provide support for Production and Disaster Recovery operations.
• Install and troubleshoot desktops and peripherals.
• Support Zoom clients, meetings, rooms, cameras, and audio devices.
• Assist with enterprise applications including M365.
• Document support activities and escalate when needed.
