Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an EMR Adoption Specialist to implement new systems and updates, partner on business requirements, and support clinician onboarding across clinics and hospitals. Hybrid role with primary onsite work at Clarksville Hospital and periodic visits to the Nashville campus.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage post-go-live changes, and ensure smooth handovers to the post-go-live support team while coordinating with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent/relevant experience.
• Two years of healthcare experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support for the Business Office staff within physician practices and hospitals.
• Collaborate with the Senior Customer Relationship Manager to plan, prepare and conduct user group focus meetings, including issue discussions, lessons learned, communication and upgrade planning.
• Escalate issues to the Senior Customer Relationship Manager as they arise.
• Provide ongoing post go-live support by managing change requests and resolving issues.
• Regularly visit assigned sites to onboard new physicians and staff, observe software usage, offer tips, and optimize workflows without system modifications.
• Deliver information on outages, upgrades, or Epic-related updates to assigned areas.
